I’ve never really decorated for Valentine’ Day before, but I thought it would be fun this year. So I decided to make this bunting for the mantel.
Supplies needed:
Package of styrofoam balls
2 roles crepe paper
Hot glue gun
Embroidery thread

To make the crepe flower, cut a strip of paper about 2ft long. Fold the paper over about 1/3 of the way. Start rolling the paper a few times with the folded edge on the outside. Begin twisting the paper half way while wrapping it around. Then keep twisting, turning and wrapping.
Once you have completed the flower, add a little hot glue to the end to hold the flower together. Then add hot glue to your styrofoam ball and place the flower. Continue this process until you have filled the entire ball. Once you have created as many as you like, use a needle and the embroidery thread to create the bunting.
*It may take a time or two to get the flower making down, but once you do the process will go quickly.
