Just like that it’s already 2017. I’m ready for a clean slate, new direction and making memories. I like to make goals for each month, year and long term, but also have a word for the year. A word that I will carry with me daily.
This year my word is HOPE. No, not the I wish something happens. But as in hope from the Bible that gives us a firm assurance – without hope, we have nothing.
It’s so easy for me to focus on our current situation and forget that HE has bigger/better plans. Even though I certainly don’t like it at times, I have HOPE knowing that HE is faithful and His timing is perfect.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
