I love me some strawberries. Especially strawberries with agave syrup. I made this dish over the weekend and we all snacked on it while sitting outside on the patio and enjoying the warm sunshine.
Strawberries with Agave Syrup
Ingredients:
spoonful of sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp agave nectar
Sliced strawberries
Minced mint leaves
In a saucepan over medium heat, sprinkle in sugar, water and agave nectar to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Pour syrup into a small bowl and let stand at room temperature.
Place the strawberries in a cup and pour the syrup over berries. Sprinkle with sugar and mint and it’s ready to be devoured!
