Hot chocolate is like a hug from inside. But seriously, I love me some hot chocolate. I enjoy making recipes that go along with the season and this peppermint hot chocolate is great for Christmas time.
When hosting a party a think it’s more fun to let guests create their own drink. Not only will kids and adults enjoy adding their own flavors, but it’s fun to come up with your own variety of hot chocolate flavors.
How to make a Hot Chocolate Dessert Board
Supplies Needed:
- Cutting board
- Graham Crackers
- 1 10 oz chocolate chips
- 1 10 oz peanut butter chips
- 1 16 oz bag Marshmallows
- 2 Hershey’s Chocolate Bars
- Peppermint Spoons
Dessert Charcuterie Board
Assemble all of the ingredients on the board and serve with hot chocolate.
Charcuterie Boards are so fun to make and the possibilities are endless. So I figured why not make a dessert version of these fun platters.
You can change up the toppings and add your favorites to the board. You can make hot chocolate in the crock pot, which makes it so much easier to keep the drink warm throughout the party. Then keep the crock pot next to the board so everyone can serve themselves.
A simple, steaming cup of hot cocoa is fantastic. But when serving it at a party or gathering, I like to offer plenty of toppings.
My son LOVES marshmallows, so adding plenty of large mallows to the board is an absolute must.
