Nights during the winter are best spent sitting around the Christmas tree with a cup of white hot chocolate. Plus it gives this Texas girl the illusion that it actually feels and looks like winter outside.
As soon as we have our tree up and decorated, my son acts for a cup of hot chocolate. This year, I decided to change things up and make this white hot chocolate. It’s SO good and is now little mans favorite late night treat…Please tell me I’m not the only one who give their kid sugar before bed, right?! It is Christmas after all!
How to Make White Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
4 cups milk
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Whipped cream
Sprinkles
Directions:
- In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat.
- Add in white chocolate chips and vanilla extract. Stir until completely melted.
- Remove from stove and pour into cups.
- Add in whipped cream and top with sprinkles.
