These delicious frozen hash brown patties in air fryer are the perfect addition to any busy morning. They are easy and ready to eat in minutes.
This is the perfect quick breakfast and kid-friendly snack that can be made in under 10 minutes!
I’m all for homemade hash brown patties, but on busy mornings I don’t have time or the energy to make that. So my go-to are the frozen patties.
If you don’t have an air fryer, then you need to order one NOW! It’s a game-changer and will make cooking meals for the family much easier.
I recently purchased the PowerXL Air Fryer because I had worn my other one out. I honestly use this air fryer at least once a day. It cuts down on cooking time, easy to use, and gives your food that crispy texture we all want. But any other brand such as the Ninja Foodi or Cosori Air Fryer can be used.
This recipe works great for the frozen patties you purchase at the grocery store or if you have a homemade recipe you enjoy.
I made these in my air fryer, which can hold 6 frozen hash brown patties at one time. The cook time is on about 8 to 10 minutes.
You can skip the soggy microwave hash browns and turn frozen hash browns into a delicious breakfast potato in no time!
Making these in the air fryer instead of the oven or stovetop means less mess! This recipe is great for breakfast, but also a quick snack.

How to Make Frozen Hash Brown Patties in Air Fryer
Ingredients: 4 frozen hash brown patties
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
Place the frozen hash brown patties in a single layer in the air fryer.
Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
If you are wanting more crispy hash browns you can cook for them for an additional 2-4 minutes.
Serve immediately! You can enjoy it plain or with ketchup for dipping.
Store leftovers in an air-tight container and reheat in the air fryer or microwave later.
What’s great about cooking in the air fryer is that you do not need vegetable oil to get that fried texture.
However, sometimes you may need to spray a little oil if your food seems to stick to the bottom tray of the air fryer.

Air Fryer Frozen Hash Browns
While typically, you can stack food in the air fryer, I do not recommend it with hash browns.
The patties are a little fragile while cooking and can easily fall apart when stacked.
Food that I recommend that you can be cooked stacked are Parmesan truffle French fries and Mexican zucchini. Any food you can shake instead of flip with a spatula can be stacked.
