I’m all for homemade egg rolls, but when you are in a time crunch, go with the pre-made frozen egg rolls. Cooking these in the air fryer is my favorite thing. Gone are the days of getting burnt by oil popping up at you.
If you don’t have an air fryer, then you need to order one NOW! It’s a game-changer and will make cooking meals for the family SO much easier. With crispy outsides, this air fryer egg rolls recipe will be replaced by typical skillet frying. And long gone are the days that you microwave them.

Frozen Egg Rolls in Air Fryer
This recipe is the perfect snack and could not be any easier! Simply add a few egg rolls or spring rolls from the grocery store. Place the rolls in the air fryer basket and cook at 400 for 10-12 minutes. Cooking time varies by which air fryer you are using.
If cooking frozen spring rolls, you will only need to cook for about 7-8 minutes. Spring rolls have a thinner wrapper and do not take as much time to cook through.

How to make Homemade Air Fryer Frozen Egg Rolls
Prefer to make homemade egg rolls over the store-bought kind? No problem, I have the best recipe! It’s simple to make and you can freeze them and cook them in an air fryer later. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy finger foods?
Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken, cooked & shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 14 egg roll wrappers
Instructions:
In a medium-size bowl, add garlic, cabbage, carrots, green onions, and chicken.
Stir until well combined.
In a small bowl mix the egg and water to create an egg wash.
Taking one egg roll wrapper, lay it flat on a clean surface.
Place a spoon full of the chicken mixture onto the center of the wrapper.
Fold the wrapper over the filling. Fold the two side corners over the center and roll.
Brush the egg wash on the edge of the wrapper to seal the egg roll.
Repeat until all egg rolls are wrapped.
Place egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 400 for 12 minutes, rotating the rolls after 6 minutes.
Place on a paper towel-lined plate and let cool.
