We all have certain foods that make you think of home, right? Well this is home for me! My mom makes this recipe for almost every big occasion and holidays and is my all time favorite thing she cooks. It’s also the only recipe of hers that I can duplicate that tastes the same.
Ingredients needed:
5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 cups milk
1 cup flour
2 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place one layer of potatoes on bottom of baking dish. Add 6 pinches of butter over the potatoes, sprinkle flour, salt and pepper. Repeat layers 2 more times. Pour milk over potatoes until dish is 3/4th filled.
Bake for about 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
