Ingredients needed:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
For rolling:
1/2 cup sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs in large bowl until blended.
- In separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Then blend with sugar mixture.
- In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup sugar.
- Shape dough into 1″ balls and roll in the sugar and cinnamon.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
