Donuts, donuts, donuts. This is basically what my son requests daily for breakfast! Every school day, I disappointment him when I say no.
But don’t worry, I totally become mother of the year each Saturday when I make him homemade donuts.
I typically make these maple bacon donuts, but lately have been switching it up and making these amazing double chocolate donuts.
Oh goodness, they are amazing, but I don’t even want to imagine the calorie count…whatever! We only live once.
Baked chocolate donuts is an easy homemade recipe that will work for breakfast or as dessert. Plus your entire family will devour these amazing baked goods.
As much as I love eating donuts from our local bakery, I don’t always want to get dressed and drive first thing – especially on Saturdays.
Of course I could always buy them the day before, but honestly I can’t stand day old donuts. They just don’t taste the same. Am I the only one that feels this way?
