This is hands down the best homemade salsa recipe…ever! It’s spicy, chunky and delicious. My grandmother passed it down to my mother and then I learned to make it once I got married.
Random side note – when Chad and I were dating we always went to Mexican restaurants because I could eat it every single day. Not to mention that there are only about 456 of them within a 20 mile radius. But right after we married, Chad decided to go on a year long hiatus from Mexican food. So since he wouldn’t take me I learned to make this recipe. Ha, I showed him!

How to make the best homemade salsa recipe
Ingredients needed:
1 Can diced tomatoes
lemon
lime
1 Onion
3 jalapenos
Cilantro
Cherry tomatoes
Add the can of diced tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped jalapenos, and cilantro into a food processor and blend. Then squeeze the lemon and lime and blend for just a minute more. Once the salsa is blended to the consistency you like, pour into a bowl and stir in a few sliced cherry tomatoes. This is perfect if you like chunky salsa.
