Getaway at Texican Court

As soon as you step foot into the Texican Court lobby, you know it will be a fantastic stay. The hotel is a mix of classic country charm and upscale glamping with all the modern amenities.

The luxury hotel offers a one-of-kind stay that feels like you are sitting on a back porch on a ranch in the country, yet you are in the heart of Irving, Texas.

A look inside the Texican Court rooms

The hotel has a classic motel-style feel with the room doors facing either a courtyard or pool. You’ll be transported back to a different era, with a laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and relax while enjoying the beautiful Texas skies.

The Texas vibe continues in each of the rooms. They have a tiled TX on the bathroom floors, branded embroidered sheets, a vintage-style alarm clock, and a refrigerator stocked with all your favorite Texas snacks.

Each room also has a colorful robe in the bathroom, perfect for lounging around. You can purchase the robe and other cool souvenirs in the lobby. And you can also purchase their signature scent candle that smells amazing!

Texican Court Amenities

The main feature of the hotel is the circular pool that sits in the middle of the property. It has several lounge chairs on the tanning deck as well as chairs and umbrellas surrounding the pool. On weekends, you can grab a drink from the poolside bar.

Located just outside the gorgeous pink doors, are rocking chairs for guests. I love the aspect that the hotel is meant for guests to get outdoors and be social. Such a cool vibe!

The courtyards offer lawn games, fire pits, and plenty of seating areas. They typically offer complimentary bicycles, but that has been put on hold because of COVID.

Two Mules Cantina

The onsite restaurant offers delicious Tex-Mex options, a full bar, and live music on certain nights. Guests can eat inside the restaurant or on the patio next to a courtyard. The courtyard features plenty of seating and fire pits.

My friend and I split the chips and dip as an appetizer and each order the quesadilla for dinner. Both were delicious. The portions are rather large, and we could have easily split a meal. And of course, we had to order their famous summer Poptails and they did not disappoint! I feel like every drink should be served with a popsicle in them.

Convenient Location

Located across the street from the Irving Convention Center and Toyota Music Factory, Texican Court is in the heart of Las Colinas’ entertainment district. Within walking distance, guests can find more than dozens of dining and entertainment options. Park your car for free at the hotel and go explore the city.

Or guests can hop on the DART Rail’s Orange Line and head into Dallas for a day of exploring.
