Lately I feel like have been in a cooking rut. You know,
making the same recipes over and over again for dinner. I think partly it’s
because my family and I are in a no going out to eat stage, and so of course
that is all I want to do. Don’t you just hate that?
Anyways, while on my weekly grocery shopping trip to Walmart
I made a point to purchase new items so that I could come up with recipes that
my family would not dread eating – again. I picked up the staples and then while
in line at the deli counter I saw the Boursin® cheese and knew I had to pick up
a couple items.

My son LOVES cheese and doesn’t want to eat anything unless
cheese is involved. So naturally I picked up a couple different flavors to make
with the chicken and some to use for appetizers and snacks. This spicy chicken
recipe is now my go-to chicken meal because my guys loved it. Plus it’s so
simple and quick!

Ingredients needed:
Chicken breasts
Monterey Jack & Spicy Pepper Cheese Dip
1 jalapeno, chopped
½ onion, chopped
Directions:
- Bake chicken at 400 degrees until it’s golden brown and
thoroughly cooked. - Take out of oven and add the cheese (more is always better.)
- On top of the cheese add the onion and jalapenos.
- Bake for another 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
Seriously, it’s that simple and so delicious. Feel free to
have an appetizer of Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese with crackers while
you are waiting for dinner to be served. This is also a great appetizer to serve when hosting your upcoming holiday parties!
