I’ve partnered with Price*s® to bring you this delicious snack idea, but all opinions are my own!
My four year old son believes that cheese – especially mac and cheese should be its own food group. And that it should be served daily and at every meal throughout the day. As much as I like mac and cheese, I prefer mine not to be made with squeezable cheese. That’s why I used Price*s Southern Style Original pimiento cheese to upgrade this to a sophisticated grown up meal that everyone in your family will enjoy.
Ingredients needed:
2 cups Great Value pasta shells
½ cup Price*s Southern Style Original pimiento cheese (found at Walmart in the refrigerated section near cream cheese)
¼ cup shredded Great Value sharp cheddar cheese
5 slices of bacon, chopped
Directions:
- Cook pasta as directed on package.
- Drain water and place pasta back on stove.
- On low heat, stir in the pimiento and cheddar cheese until all cheese is melted and well mixed.
- Place pasta in bowls, top with chopped bacon and enjoy!
Of course, that’s not all we can have for dinner. If you are like my family, we like to snack on hors d’oeuvres while cooking up our meal. I made these spicy jalapeno sausage bites to go along with our mac n cheese. They are also the perfect appetizer to serve for upcoming holiday parties.
All you need to do is cut your sausage in small slices and cook until brown. Grab your crackers and spread a layer of Price*s Southern Style Spicy Jalapeno pimiento cheese, add a slice of sausage and top with a sliver of jalapeno. Simple, easy and delicious! *Warning: very delicious and you will eat more than you planned.

I love mac and cheese. This recipe looks absolutely delicious! Pinning!
That looks great. I have never seen pimeinto cheese in Australia. Is it like creamed cheese with red peppers through it?
I have never heard of pimento cheese before, but it sounds like a nice addition to this recipe.
I had not heard of the pimiento cheese before. (I just looked at their site though, and now I need to see if I can find it in my area!) I love mac and cheese, so this would be fun to try!
I have heard of pimento but never pimiento – are they the same thing? Is it a spicy cheese?
That sounds amazing and it looks amazing too!
I just tried pimiento cheese last year and loved it. This whole recipe sounds wonderful!
