Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of year. One of
my most favorite family traditions we do in December is watch classic Christmas
movies. But first, we have to put on our coziest pajamas, make M&M’s® hot chocolate and cupcakes.
middle of our living room. Carson received a 6 person tent from my parents for
Christmas and it has taken up permanent residence in our house. Oh how I wish
all Friday nights could be like this! No hustle and bustle – just the three
amigos chillin’ in a tent…in the house.
White Peppermint
4 cups Great Value milk
Marshmallows
- Place M&M’s®
in food processor. Chop until candies are ground into small pieces. - In large pot, heat milk until desired temperature.
- Stir in M&M’s® until melted smoothly with
milk. - Pour into mugs and add marshmallows.
- Serve Immediately. *I served the hot chocolate with cupcakes made with Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Cake Mix and Vanilla Flavored Frosting.
While you are picking up supplies at Walmart and getting
milk to make the hot chocolate keep in mind that so many hungry children and
families in your community are going without essential nutrients because milk
is not typically donated to food banks. You can make a small donation and The Great American Milk Drive will deliver up to a gallon of
milk to a family in YOUR community. You can also purchase 2 bags of M&M’s® at Walmart (9.4 oz. or larger)
and milk will be donated to the drive.
More than 46.5 million Americans rely on food banks each
year, and milk is the most requested item. Yet food banks are only able to
provide 1 gallon of milk per person per year. These children are not receiving
the nutrients that need. You can visit milklife.com/give to learn about the
need for more nutritious food and how your donation can make a big impact.
