This homemade hamburger helper recipe is just as simple to make as the boxed version, but tastes SO much better! Using pantry staples, this recipe is kid-friendly, but adults will enjoy it as well.
For this cheeseburger macaroni recipe, I used American Wagyu ground beef from Snake River Farms. They have a wide variety of high-quality meats to choose from.

How to make Homemade Hamburger Helper
This recipe uses only a few simple ingredients and is packed with flavor. Below is everything you need to whip up the cheesiest one-pot cheesy pasta dish from scratch. Having a list of quick and delicious dinner ideas is must have.
Ingredients:
1 pound Snake River Farms Wagyu ground beef
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Spicy Mustard
2 tbsp Seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper)
12 oz Macaroni Pasta
4 cups Water
1 cup Half & Half
2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
In a large pan, add the ground beef and cook over medium-high heat.
Mix in the tomato paste, spicy mustard, and seasoning as beef is cooking.
Once the beef is cooked, add the macaroni noodles and water.
Mix well, cover the pan and let simmer until the pasta is cooked to al dente.
Remove the lid, add half & half, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Continue to simmer for 3-4 minutes and stir until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
Serve immediately.
