Did you know that Halloween is the 3rd biggest party day after New Year’s and Super Bowl Sunday? Consumers spend over $2.5 billion for Halloween on candies, costumes, decorations and parties.
I guess people love a good excuse to throw a party! We have never gone crazy, but keep this low key and simple when it comes to Halloween. Our son was born on October 31, so we do a simple celebration on his actual birthday and then throw him a party the weekend following Halloween.
For those who like to have a little get together with friends or family, you can pick up table decor decorations and place settings from Oriental Trading without breaking the bank. Here is what you need to set up a inexpensive but beautiful Halloween dessert table.
Here are the links to products I used to set the table:
- Black Wine Glasses
- Dinner Plates
- Black Cutlery Set
- Black Napkins
- Gold Pumpkin Votive Holder
- White Tea Lights
Do you do anything fun and festive for Halloween?

What a cute idea. I like decorating for fall and not Halloween so I can keep the same decorations for 3 months. The black is so versatile and not scary. I wouldn't want to scare the grandkids.
