It may only be Spring, but it is already starting to feel like summer here in Texas. We love meeting our friends down out the park or having them over for a little play date. But since it’s already heating up, I decided to whip up a special treat for the kids to enjoy and help keep them cool.
These easy and convenient Kool-Aid Easy Mix frozen yogurt popsicles are the perfect warm weather treat, and the kids will love them!
Ingredients Needed:
2/3 cup Kool-Aid Easy Mix
1 cup chopped strawberries
2 cups plain yogurt
Directions:
In large food processor add yogurt, chopped strawberries and Kool-Aid Easy Mix (I used tropical punch), and blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into popsicle molds and place in freezer for out 5 hours, or until frozen.
Once frozen, take out of freezer and enjoy this tasty treat! To help release yogurt pops from the mold, run it under hot water for a few seconds. This will help the pops slide right out.
Kool-Aid Easy Mix is available in cherry, tropical punch and grape, and you can find it in the juice aisle at Walmart. Not only is it great for making the yogurt pops, but is a quick, refreshing beverage the whole family will enjoy. It also has 50% less sugar than leading regular sodas. After sampling that at the in-store demo at Walmart, I had to purchase all three flavors!
What’s your favorite Spring time treat?
