After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is stand in my kitchen for an hour cooking a home cooked meal. I like to make recipes that are easy and can be prepared in about 30 minutes. That’s why we typically eat pasta about once a week in our house. But since we eat it regularly, I try to switch up my recipes and sauce so we aren’t always eating the same dish each
I recently made chicken alfredo asparagus pasta and it was a hit with my guys.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. While pasta is cooking, cut and steam asparagus. Fry bacon until crispy, chop and set to the side.
- In separate skillet, cook chicken for 4-5 minutes, browning it on all sides. Reduce heat to low and add in Alfredo sauce.
- Once pasta is cooked, drain and pour into large serving dish. Add asparagus, chicken and sauce. Stir until pasta is well covered. Plate pasta and sprinkle on bacon and chives.
