After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is stand in my kitchen for an hour cooking a home cooked meal. I like to make recipes that are easy and can be prepared in about 30 minutes.
That’s why we typically eat pasta about once a week in our house. But since we eat it regularly, I try to switch up my recipes and sauce so we aren’t always eating the same dish each
week.
I recently made chicken alfredo asparagus pasta and it was a hit with my guys.
ingredients:
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
While pasta is cooking, cut and steam asparagus.
Fry bacon until crispy, chop and set to the side.
In separate skillet, cook chicken for 4-5 minutes, browning it on all sides.
Reduce heat to low and add in Alfredo sauce.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and pour into large serving dish.
Add asparagus, chicken and sauce.
Stir until pasta is well covered.
Plate pasta and sprinkle on bacon and chives.

I have used Francesco Rinaldi pasta sauce in the past but haven't tried their Alfredo sauce yet. I will have to pick a couple up next time I go to the store and try your recipe. I love chicken and asparagus.
I love this for a summer pasta salad – instead of the traditional macaroni salad you get at BBQ & cook outs. I love asparagus – I eat a lot of it in the summer!
