Visiting the Grand Canyon should be at the top of everyone’s bucket list. It’s absolutely stunning and can easily visit the park in one day.
Stop number one on our adventure out West was the Grand Canyon. This was my first time and it was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Pictures do not do it justice! My son described it as “majestic.”
We hopped on the train in Williams, AZ and enjoyed a two hour scenic train ride up to the canyon. It was a peaceful ride up to the canyon, but coming back was another story. We were held up by train robbers! They rode up on horseback, jumped on and even took money from some of the passengers. Carson was a little nervous at first thinking we were in danger.
Once in the park we walk around the rim, ate at a delicious restaurant overlooking the canyon and took plenty of photos. I couldn’t help but stare in admiration and wonder how God made something so beautiful and magnificent.
This place is a 100 times more beautiful in person than in the photos!
I used to live in Phoenix so I have been to the Grand Canyon many times. It was amazing each and every time. It makes you humble to see such natural beauty and power in today's modern, complicated world. Would love to take my kids!
I am guessing the "robbers" were part of the fun, That is so cool! I have never been to teh Grand Canyon, but it is on my bucket List. I love the photo of your little boy looking over the ledge, so precious!

I have never been to the Grand Canyon. It is on my bucket list, but will probably be a few years before we get out there. I bet your little one loved the train robbers once he figured out it was for fun. Great photos.
