Gorgeous Interior
The beautiful lodge welcomes it’s guests as soon as enter the entryway as you take in it’s rustic elegance.
Greeted with a large living room with wooded beams on the ceiling, country music playing and a cozy couch to relax and unwind.

Spacious Rooms
The lodge features four large bedrooms, three full bathrooms, office, kitchen, dining room and patio with a gas fire pit. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own rooms and bathroom and space to spread out.
The primary suite features a king size bed, sitting area, walk in closet and giant bathroom.
The suite’s bathroom featured double sinks, soaking tub and large walk-in shower with a bench.
Great Location
While staying at Harbet Lodge, not only did we explore the ranch but we also played a round of golf and spent a full day in Galveston at the beach. It was wonderful to come back to the lodge and relax for the evening.

Feed the horses
They love anyone with a treat in their hand!
Take a tour of the large animal veterinary clinic
During our tour we say first hand the doc in action, fed the goats, saw the operating room and learned all about artificial insemination.
Gather fresh eggs
We didn’t get a chance to do this activity. But at least we enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast each morning!
Tour the ranch
The tour takes about 30 minutes. My son and I enjoyed touring the property on an ATV side by side, getting up close to the cows as the graze and driving around the private lake.
Bass fishing
The large private lake is stocked with bass fish. It’s a great location for bank fishing and enjoying a few hours on the back side of the ranch.
Making s’mores
The lodge is stocked with all the goodies to make s’mores at night. I recommend grabbing a glass of wine and bringing it outside. Trust me, with the beautiful views from the porch, you’ll end up staying outside for hours soaking in the scenery.
