This holiday gift guide for kids will make your holiday shopping a lot easier.
Y’all time is seriously flying by! I’ve just recovered from the craziness of Thanksgiving and now it’s just a few weeks from Christmas. I don’t know about you, but I am not anywhere close to being done with my gift buying.
My little guy is in first grade and I’m always searching for gifts and toys that will continue to spark his imagination and use his creative thinking skills. Learning through play is important for all kiddos – but I want the activities to be fun AND exciting. That’s why I was elated to add a few new toys to our playroom!
Ultimate Toy Gift Guide
Q-BA-MAZE 2.0 – This STEM toy is fantastic! It’s versatile and kids can come up with their own maze or create one from the instructions. The motion-activated cubes change colors each time a marble rolls onto it. I like that it helps with problem solving skills without my son feeling like it was a learning toy.
Double Spot – This double-sided pattern game is so fun and intense! You have to make the pattern from your card, but it’s tricky with the double-sided disks – you may end up helping your opponent! This is the perfect addition to family game night.
Quick Pickle – Be prepared for lots of giggles and quick thinking! The object of the game is to get as many pickles as possible. Players take turns flipping a card and has to do what it says. Anything from holding your nose, smiling, cover your mouth, rhyming to even making up rules. It’s hilarious and my son was eager to play over and over again.
Dig It Up! Dinosaur Skeletons – I have a future paleontologist and this is by far one of his favorite activities. Dig It Up! comes with 12 dinosaur eggs that you have to chisel away to excavate which dinosaur skeleton is inside.
KEVA Cutouts – These wooden blocks are versatile and great for creative play. Kids can build anything they imagine or use the provided guide book for inspiration. The possibilities are endless!
