It may seem that summer break just started, but back-to-school time will be here before we know it! We all know that summer goes by way too quickly.
With summer vacations, weekend road trips, shuttling kids to swim lessons, and backyard BBQs, the days seem to slip by without knowing it. That’s why I’m getting a jump start on organizing life for school so our days won’t be as hectic come the middle of August.

Organizing Tips for Back to School
Using Name Bubbles for all your back to school needs
Name Bubbles are the easiest hack to get organized and minimize the headaches that come with preparing your kids for school.
Name Bubbles labels are waterproof and laundry safe. The best part is that you can easily make custom labels and designs for all your needs. So no matter if you have a little one going to pre-k and need to label EVERYTHING or a senior in high school and need a custom sticker for that expensive hydro-flask. Name Bubbles is your solution!
Although my son is going into 4th grade and is responsive for his age, I’m using Name Bubbles to items my son takes to school so they don’t end up in the forever home of the lost and found.
Backpack Labels
I add the peel and stick name labels to the inside of his backpack. This helps ensure my son comes home with his backpack and not his buddies.
Water Bottle and Lunch Box Labels
Name Labels are washable, so you can stick them on plastic containers and water bottles. This is great because you can throw them in the dishwasher without having them rub off.
School Supplies
School supplies always seem to walk off in classrooms. Missing pencil boxes, crayon boxes, and folders need to be replaced throughout the year. But when adding Name Labels to them, it helps teachers & kids identify what is theirs and the likelihood of them staying at the desk they should be at.
Organizing School Paperwork
Kids’ homework and artwork can take over the house (or the fridge). By having a bid or basket on their desk or counter where the kids or us as parents can unload their folders and place them there. Then later I can go through and see what needs to be saved and what goes in the trash.
The papers and artwork that I decide to keep, I place in a file box with a hanging file folder designated for each year. Stick a label with the year on each file folder and you are good to go.
Clothing Labels
If your kid likes to bring a hoodie or jacket to wear in the classroom a label is a must! They may get cold in the classroom, but as soon as they go outside for recess the hoodie comes off. Then left on the playground are 15 sweatshirts that at the end of the day will head to the lost in found. Save yourself the frustration and fewer trips to the store for a replacement, when all you needed was a peel and stick clothing label.
Don’t worry about forgetting to take off the sticker before wash. The stickers are durable, waterproof, and laundry safe!
