Why stay at a Jellystone Park
This Jellystone park is essentially the neighborhood of our childhood. Guests have an old-school mentality and seem to look after each other. You can’t help but wave at other campers as they drive by in their golf cart and say hello to those in the neighboring cabins.
I loved seeing kids walking to the lake, playing basketball with friends they just made, making crafts, and climbing on one of the many playgrounds. And the best part was that none of them had their phones or asked to play video games!
Cabin and RV Rentals
During this trip, we stayed in the Park Model RVs (also known as deluxe cabins) that featured a bedroom with a queen-size bed, bunk beds, full kitchen, bathroom, living room, loft, AC/Heat, and screened-in porch.
What’s unique about the Park Model RV is that they look like a cabin, but are hooked up to a campsite just like an RV. You can experience the RV life without having to own all the gear and supplies.

The entire park is gated and there is someone at the entrance 24 hours a day. Visitors can only enter the campground if staying on property, which is a nice security feature.
