Mmmm, ice cream. My family and I can’t get enough of it this summer. It’s the perfect cool treat for hot summer nights. This past weekend we had my in-laws over for a little golf ice cream party. Because you know, who doesn’t want ice cream?!

It was too hot to play outside, so we brought the fun to the living room for a game of putt-putt. This was Carson first time playing golf and he loved it. It was a low key evening of playing a game and eating (more that we should) ice cream.

I got six pints of the Jack Nicklaus Ice Cream in different flavors so there was plenty of taste testing going on. You know, I had to taste them all – it only seemed fair. My favorite was the Jack Nicklaus Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream. This creamy treat is a mix of strawberry sherbet and lemon sorbet. Black Cherry was a close second with generous bites of sweet cherries. Wow, so good!

Jack Nichlaus Ice Cream and The Schwan Food Company has been bring family together to enjoy a scoop of affordable dessert since 2015. Not only is the ice cream fantastic, portion of sales goes to support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. One more reason to buy some – in case just eating ice cream isn’t enough!

    I really love the Cookie dough ice creams, but have to say that Pineapple Upside-Down Cake would be amazing!! I love the unique flavors they have! My neighbors get Schwans every week…I have to flag them down next week!
