We stopped and played at White Sands National Monument a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting the park for a few hours. We took off our socks and shoes off then frolicked in the sand until sundown!

Carson loves all things dirt, so this was a must do on our road trip. He brought a few little construction trucks to dig with and had the best time. We ran, rolled around and took way too many pictures! What I was surprised about was how fine the sand was and how cold. The texture and feel is completely different than beach sand.
This was a trip that will not be forgotten!
