I adore spring. The flowers are in bloom, the sun is shining, the weather is warm and it’s finally baseball season! Since baseball is such a big deal in our family, I thought it was only fitting that I created a baseball themed Easter basket to give as a gift this year.
Baseball caps are my favorite accessories on guys. So naturally I had to use one as the basket and get a few movies & yummy treats to go along with it.
Here is what you need to make the Ultimate Baseball Themed Easter Basket:
Baseball cap
Baseball themed movies
Skittles® Bunny Cane
Starburst® Funsize Cane
Hubba Bubba®
2 DOVE® Milk Chocolate Bunny (because it’s Easter and chocolate is always a good idea)
Place all the items in the hat and give to your baseball fan on Easter morning. He will certainly agree that you hit a home run!
To make it a little more festive I made these baseball pennants and added it to the gift. Here is what you need:
- 1 Blue card stock paper
- 1 white card stock paper
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
- 2 Wooded scewers or sticks
Directions:
- Cut 2 large triangles out of the blue paper.
- Cut 2 smaller triangles out of the white paper.
- Glue the white triangles to the center of each blue pennant.
- Using the marker, write a message on each pennant.
- Glue each pennant to a stick and then arrange in the Easter basket.
This easy and fun baseball themed Easter basket is great for sports fan. I like using the hat as the basket, because it’s useful and won’t be thrown in the garbage the next day!
