This DIY chalkboard notebook is a fun back to school craft.
Summer is coming to a close and we are busy preparing for the new school year. My son was especially excited to go back to school shopping to pick up supplies for his class, as well as some for home to practice his writing.
This year I let him pick out a couple of extra composition notebooks that we could paint and draw on with chalk. It’s always more fun when kids can add their own creativity to their school supplies and can help them get excited about heading back to the classroom.
While shopping at Walmart of school supplies, I also picked up snacks that are perfect to pack in the lunch box. The Horizon® Organic Yogurt Cups are so versatile and works great as part of a breakfast or snack time. The creamy yogurt has ingredients that moms can feel good about and contains live and active cultures. They have 5 flavors to choose, vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, key lime, one for each school day!

This is such a such a lovely idea Chastity. I have to remember it for January when most South African kids go back to school.
