If you’re planning a ski getaway to Utah, few places blend comfort, convenience, and mountain charm quite like The Chateaux Deer Valley. Nestled in the heart of the exclusive Deer Valley Resort, this elegant alpine lodge offers spacious suites, cozy fireplaces, and easy access to world-class skiing.

Where To Stay in Deer Valley
During our recent trip to Park City, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds, and it quickly became one of our favorite ski stays. From the warm fireplaces to the oversized balcony with mountain views, it felt like the perfect home base after a long day on the slopes.
Here’s everything you should know about staying at The Chateaux Deer Valley.
Spacious One-Bedroom Suites Perfect for Families
We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with two queen beds, and the space was perfect for relaxing after a long day on the mountain.

The suite felt more like a mountain condo than a traditional hotel room. Inside, you’ll find:
- Two comfortable queen beds
- A separate living area, dining room and kitchen
- A cozy fireplace in both the bedroom and living room
- A large private balcony
- Large closets for ski gear and winter layers

One of our favorite parts of the room was the fireplace. After a full day skiing at Deer Valley Resort, it was the perfect place to warm up and relax for the evening. The large balcony was another highlight. Even in winter, stepping outside for a few minutes to take in the crisp mountain air and snowy views made the stay feel extra special.
Skiing Deer Valley Just Minutes Away
Location is everything on a ski trip, and The Chateaux delivers.
The hotel sits just steps from Silver Lake Village, making it incredibly easy to access the slopes at Deer Valley Resort.

Across from the hotel is everything you need:
- Ski lifts
- Rental shops
- Restaurants and après-ski spots
- Ski school meeting areas
The convenience means less time commuting and more time skiing — something every ski family appreciates.
A Delicious Breakfast Included
Another perk we really enjoyed was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning at the hotel.
It’s a simple detail, but on a ski trip it makes mornings much easier. Instead of trying to find a restaurant before hitting the slopes, you can grab breakfast right at the hotel and head out for the day.
Having breakfast included also adds great value when staying in a popular ski destination like Park City.

Dinner at Cena Ristorante
Dinner at Cena Ristorante was one of our favorite meals of the trip. I ordered the steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while my son went with the lasagna Bolognese — both were delicious. And of course, I paired it with a cocktail, which made for the perfect way to wind down the evening.

Cozy Mountain Luxury Throughout the Property
The Chateaux Deer Valley has a refined mountain-lodge atmosphere that feels warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
What to expect:
- Elegant alpine architecture
- Inviting fireplaces throughout the property
- Comfortable lounge areas
- Beautiful mountain views
The property balances luxury and comfort perfectly — upscale but still relaxed enough for families and ski travelers.

Dining Options Nearby
Another reason we loved this location is the fantastic dining nearby in Silver Lake Village.
After a day of skiing, there are several great restaurants within walking distance, making dinner easy without needing to drive back into town.
After a day on the slopes, there are several restaurants within walking distance. A couple of great options include:
- Royal Street Cafe – a popular spot for lunch or après-ski dining

Being able to walk to dinner is always a bonus after a long day of skiing.
