My little guy turned 6 at the end of October and this year we had a art themed party for him! Carson LOVES having friends and family at his house, so thankfully Texas is typically warm in October so we can do the messy part of the party outside.
For decorations I stocked up on supplies from Oriental Trading for plates, napkins and party favors for the kids. Each child got their own beret and apron – aren’t they adorable?!
I set up 2 tables in the backyard with canvases and water guns filled washable paint. Then the kids got to shoot the guns at the canvas to make their art. It was so much fun and everyone had a blast.
Once everyone had time to create their artwork, we headed over to bust open a piñata with plenty of candy for everyone. We ended the party with letting the guests jump and play games on the trampoline and try to burn off the sugar from all the birthday sweets.
It was a fantastic party and such a special way to celebrate my little artists birthday.
Here is what I pick up at Oriental Trading to make this the best art party:
- Lime Green Dessert Plates
- Red Square Dinner Plates
- Little Artist Frosted Lollipops
- Little Artist Party Napkins
- 3-Tier Serving Set
- Berets
- Colorful Kids Aprons
- Little Artist Pull-String Piñata
- Water Guns
*Thanks to Oriental Trading for providing supplies for this awesome birthday!
