If you’re planning a trip to Seattle and want to see the best of the city without blowing your budget, the Seattle CityPASS is a game-changer. It gives you access to five of the city’s top attractions for one low price—and trust me, it’s worth every penny.

This is a great option if you are trying to hit all the top attractions before you head out on your Alaska cruise.
On our recent adventure to the Emerald City, we used the CityPASS to explore iconic landmarks, including a stop at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and the famous Pike Place Market. Here’s a look at how we made the most of our pass and spent a picture-perfect day in downtown Seattle.

What’s Included in the Seattle CityPASS?
With the CityPASS, you get admission to these must-see spots:
- Space Needle
- Seattle Aquarium
- Plus your choice of 3 more:
- Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour
- Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP)
- Woodland Park Zoo
- Chihuly Garden and Glass
If you are short on time you can purchase the Seattle C3, which allows you to pick any three attractions to visit.
We chose the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and MoPOP—and of course made time for Pike Place Market—which, fun fact, is free to explore and just steps away from some of the CityPASS attractions.
Morning: Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, and MoPOP
Start your day at Seattle Center, where several CityPASS attractions are conveniently located.
Begin with a ride to the top of the Space Needle, where you’ll get panoramic views of Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, and the city skyline. Be sure to take advantage of the second visit included with your pass—sunset views are stunning!

Next, walk over to Chihuly Garden and Glass for a colorful and awe-inspiring experience. The massive glass sculptures, vibrant colors, and intricate details make this a must-see.
Then head to Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), right next door. This interactive museum celebrates music, science fiction, film, and video games through immersive exhibits and epic memorabilia. Some highlights include:
- The Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame
- The Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix exhibits
- Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes
- The Horror Film Experience

Whether you’re a music lover, gamer, or movie buff, MoPOP is a blast for all ages and totally worth a few hours of your itinerary.

Midday: Lunch and Exploring Pike Place Market
Next, hop on the monorail or enjoy a short walk to Pike Place Market, one of the oldest and most iconic farmers markets in the country. It’s a bustling hub of fresh produce, handmade goods, street performers, and—of course—the flying fish!
Here’s what you can’t miss:
- Watch the fishmongers toss salmon at Pike Place Fish Co.
- Snap a photo by the Pike Place Market sign
- Visit the original Starbucks.
- Grab mini donuts, Beecher’s mac & cheese, or a bowl of chowder for lunch.
- Browse quirky shops, local crafts, and fresh flowers.
Pike Place is a feast for the senses and makes for a fun break between CityPASS stops.
Afternoon: Seattle Aquarium + Argosy Cruise
After lunch, stroll down to the waterfront for two more CityPASS attractions.
Start with the Seattle Aquarium, which showcases marine life native to the Pacific Northwest. You’ll find touch tanks, playful sea otters, jellyfish, and more. Kids especially love the hands-on exhibits.
Next, board the Argosy Cruises Harbor Tour. This hour-long cruise offers beautiful views of the Seattle skyline, mountains, and working waterfront, all narrated by a knowledgeable guide. It’s a relaxing and scenic way to wrap up your afternoon.

Evening: Return to the Space Needle at Night
If you visited the Space Needle in the morning, now’s the time to go back for your second visit (included with your pass!). Seeing Seattle twinkle at night from 520 feet in the air is the perfect way to end your day.
Using the Seattle CityPASS made exploring the city easy, fun, and budget-friendly. It’s perfect for first-time visitors who want to hit all the highlights without overthinking logistics or spending a fortune.
Pairing it with a visit to Pike Place Market creates the ultimate Seattle day: iconic views, interactive museums, marine life, and local flavor all in one itinerary.
Whether you’re planning a family vacation, couples trip, or solo escape, this pass—and this city—won’t disappoint.
