appreciate it when people write thank you notes. Whether it’s for an interview,
a gift or for a lovely dinner, it’s always a nice touch. No, I’m not talking
about a text message! I mean a note that was neatly hand written on stationary
that is either mailed or hand delivered. Showing your appreciation by writing a
hand written note can go a long way and is completely underrated.
- Hand write the notes – the extra effort you take to write
this speaks volumes
- Purchase stationary – No need to spend a fortune, these
can be found at any office supply store
- Personalize it – Make sure to refer to the actual gift or
what you enjoyed talking to them about
- Slow down – Take your time to write legibly and neatly so
they can actually read the words!
at all. I just can’t imagine! Not only is it good etiquette, but is simply a
nice way of showing your gratitude.
