to watch cartoons on Saturday morning. Mostly because my parents wanted us
outside playing, but also because that’s the only time they come on. (Of course that was the early 80’s and we
had a floor model television and had yet to know that people actually had
cable.) And although there was still a variety to choose from, they all had
one thing in common. They taught principals and morals. Those classics are long
gone, but one show remains that continues to focus on strong values and lessons
of faith – VeggieTales.
course I don’t mind because it helps reinforce the same faith based lessons we
are trying to teach him. Plus how can you not like talking vegetables with
in delight when he saw a big display of VeggieTales toys. Of course I let him
pick one and he just couldn’t wait to get home to play.
We went grocery shopping after church on Sunday and Bob had to tag along. Carson said, “Bob likes to visit his family and friends.” This child seriously kills me!
