Jet skiing is one of the most fun and enjoyable extra-curricular activities out there. It’s thrilling and can also provide you with beautiful views of the coastline.

But if you want to indulge yourself in this activity on your travels, where should you go? Check out this list for the best places in the world to go jet skiing.
The Best Places to go Jet Skiing Around the World

Key West, Florida
Key West is the most southern point in the contiguous United States and offers some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere in the world. The city is at the end of an island chain called the Florida Keys which stretch out some distance into the Gulf of Mexico.
Why is it a good place for jet skiing? Well, the weather is excellent. Plus renting out skis is actually extremely easy if you don’t have your own. And, finally, because it is in the US, you can easily go to a personal injury law firm if you happen to get hurt while on the water. It’s unlikely, but it can happen.
Montargil, Portugal
Another place you might want to check out is Montargil in Portugal.
Montargil is a wonderful location, famous for its big Atlantic surf. It’s not quite on the scale of the US west coast, but it is still very impressive, nevertheless. Again, this location provides you with all the skis and rentals that you could hope for. There are also numerous clubs and pubs along the beachfront for you to enjoy once you get back from tearing around like a mad creature on the open water.
Montargil, surprisingly, also remains relatively unspoiled. So you can get some beautiful views of nature too, allowing you to get away from it all.
Chalkidiki, Greece
If you go a little east from Portugal through the Med, you’ll wind up in Greece. We tend to think of Greece as being primarily a mainland country. But it actually comprises hundreds of islands, all strung out across the Aegean sea. Some of these are uninhabited and wonderful places to visit if you have your own jet ski.
Chalkidiki is perhaps the most stunning coastal retreat in the country. Here you’ll find all manner of marine life, including dolphins, plus plenty of stunning vistas to enjoy.
Torbay, Devon
If you want to take a trip to the Old World – specifically England – then be sure to check out Torbay, a beautiful stretch of the Devonshire coast. The region offers around 20 miles of coastline for jet skiers, plus hire shops that offer their own safety lessons. Usually, you have to sit through instructions for around 30 minutes, and then you get 90 minutes out on the water. You can also travel as a group, which is great for families or groups of friends.
Gold Coast, Australia
The Gold Coast has it’s name for a reason. It’s a beautiful stretch of coast that offers a big swell coming off the Pacific. You can bring your own jet ski here or go on one of the many locally-provided tours. A 30-minute session costs around 130 AUD, which is quite expensive.
