It’s the most wonderful time of year! But it’s also crazy, hectic, frustrating and fun all at the same time. Everything from family gatherings, work parties, shopping for everyone on your Christmas list, baking, and to all the other hustle and bustle, the days can be long and tiring.
The holidays don’t always have to be crazy and disorganized. With a little planning and organization you can enjoy the holiday season without all the chaos.
I like to say I’m a naturally organized person. But truth be known, I am a complete mess and crazy person if I let things get out of hand. So I force myself to be organized so that my life is less chaotic. That’s why Name Bubbles labels are must have. Perfect for holiday organization or give to your family as stocking stuffers.

Tips for holiday organization
Make a list and check it twice
I’m not talking about who’s naughty or nice! But a list of everything that needs to get done, errands to run, gifts you still need to buy and traditions you don’t want to forget about. You can have your list on an app on your phone, paper planner or a cute stationary to help keep your mind on the tasks at hand.
Create a weekly meal plan or have a meal planning binder that helps you keep go-to recipes handy. Create your weekly meal plan, write out the grocery list and going to the store once a week not only helps you save money, but saves so much time when not having to make multiple trips a week.
Organize the gift wrap and accessories
I have bins for everything! It’s easy to store decorations, wrapping paper and winter gear in individual bins. I label them with Name Bubbles to keep them separated and knowing what is in each bins without having to open and go through all the items.
Create a weekly cleaning list
Writing out a schedule to keep the house clean is a must. It helps keep the home clean and manageable when only tackling one project or room per day.
Check your calendar before saying yes
I understand that we want to do ALL the things! But there is only so many hours in the day and so many holiday events we can squeeze into the calendar. It’s best to pick the most important activities that you and your family want to participate in and know that it’s ok to say no to everything else. And don’t forget to schedule in simple evenings with family for things like sipping on hot chocolate in front of the tree and watching silly Christmas movies.
