As a mom to one boy whose day is not complete until he gets completely dirty, I prefer to not spend a fortune on clothes for him. Because of his love for all things dirt, I like to shop consignment sales (specifically Just Between Friends) so I can get cute clothes, but for a fraction of the price of retail stores.
But shopping consignment can be a little overwhelming for newbies. With so many rows of clothes, toys, shoes, etc. it can leave your head spinning! Here are a few shopping tips to make it easier and to find the deals you are looking for:
Don’t rush – Make sure you have plenty of time to search through every rack. There are so many items, you will need time to look at each one.
Make a list – Go through all of your kid’s closets and write down a list of what you need to purchase and the sizes.
Bring a bag – You will need something to carry all of your items in. You will need your hands free so you can search through the racks.
