I was given tickets in exchange for this blog post. All opinions are 100% my own.
Over the weekend we took Carson to Hawaiian Falls Water Park in Roanoke and had a blast! This was his first trip to a big water park, so I was a little nervous of him going down the big slides. But after going down it once with him, he was ready to conquer them all on his own.
The park was not as overwhelming for him as I thought it would be. It was also nice that they have chairs set up right next to the kiddie area for parents to sit and catch some rays, but still be able to see the kids a few feet away. After an hour of nonstop slides we headed over to the lazy river for some relaxation. Carson loved this just as much as the slides, because he felt like he was actually swimming! We brought his own floatation device, but they have free life jackets and tubes to use.
This park is family friendly and offers free parking, cabana rentals and you can bring a cooler for a small fee. So, if you are looking for a way to cool down in the Texas heat, this is the place to go. We had such a fun day at Hawaiian Falls, and can’t wait to go back!
