getting into a good routine. Of course we can’t start our day until we’ve had a
hearty breakfast of Jimmy Dean® Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches and
I make sure we have after school snacks for my little guy. These sandwiches are packed with protein, delicious, satisfying and the perfect way to start your morning. Although he’s not in
a pre-k program, we have him do school at home or when he goes to grandmas
house. We pack his backpack with his school work and of course the essential
day. He likes to choose his snack and talk about how he gets to eat it at the
park each day. Like most parents with young children, we are constantly going
through baggies because we have to snacks with us where ever we go. So to save
me a little cash I decided to make reusable snack bags for Carson to use each
- Cut 12”x7” rectangles on two pieces of fabrics.
- Face fabric right
side facing and sew ¼” seams around the fabric, leaving a 2” opening along one
of the sides.
- Turn your rectangle right-side out and sew the hole closed.
- Fold the fabric so that the inside is facing up. And fold
the top of the fabric to make an envelope flap.
- Sew along the outside edges.
- Bam! Now you have a cute, reusable snack bag.
Walmart because having a growing boy, he needs another snack in the afternoon.
These items can be found in the freezer section. So after nap time, he likes to eat a State Fair® Corn Dog outside while watching
the kids walk home from school. These corn dogs feature a signature honey-sweetened cornbread batter. This gives him enough fuel and energy to do a
little reading or crafts before the school day is over.
