We had a fun and relaxing yet somewhat busy Thanksgiving week. I loved having Carson home all week…well except for the CONSTANT talking. That kid can seriously talk your ear off!
Here is what what we were up to all week:
Watching the Polar Express at the Omni Theater in Fort Worth. If you are not familiar with the Omni, it features eighty-story domed screened with 30-degree stadium seating that makes you feel as if you are in the movie. Carson absolutely loved it and said, “it’s SOOO much better than watching the movie on the tv.”
My mom and I took Carson to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for his first Broadway show at the Bass Hall in Fort Worth. It was wonderfully done and Carson especially enjoyed the parts when Rudolph would fly around the stage.
Ice skating. I took Carson ice skating for the first time. We used a walker to help him from falling down – which was awesome, because I was nervous he would hit his head. He’s been begging to go back ever since.
Decorated the house for Christmas! Little man FINALLY was able to decorate his tree in his room. If it was up to him, he would have done it months ago.
Giving thanks. And eating too much food and enjoying time spent with family.
Playing outside. The weather was mild all week, so we made sure to spend some time outside everyday. Mostly playing in leaves and going to area parks.
How was your Thanksgiving week?
