It is officially too hot to do anything outside. Well, unless it involves playing in water to keep you cool. So the other day we packed a lunch, grabbed our towels, sunscreen and met some friends at NRH20 Waterpark.
NRH20 is our favorite waterpark because it has something for all ages. I especially enjoy the kids area which has 8 slides, interactive water features and is shaded. That area sits in about a foot of water, so my friend and I got to lay out while still being able to watch the boys.
After the boys began to worn out from the slides we headed over to the lazy river to float and then catch some waves at the massive wave pool. I think Carson is starting think he’s a little surfer because this is becoming his favorite activity at the park. For the big kids or those that are thrill seekers, the park has 9 large slides to play on.
The park allows you to bring a cooler full of food so you can an enjoy a picnic. We brought our lunch, but stopped for a mid afternoon snack of Dippin’ Dots which is always a must when we visit NRH20.
This park is definitely the place we will be hanging out at the rest of the summer!
I was given tickets in exchange for a blog post. All opinions are 100% my own.
