I don’t know about you, but I am so nostalgic when it comes to Christmas. I remember growing up and every Christmas we had a Wrigley Storybook in our stocking. Candy never tasted as good as those that you get at Christmas!
Did you know you can still buy these awesome treats? Yep, as I walking through Walmart the other day I came across them on the candy aisle. They have 4 different kinds to choose from – I couldn’t resist and had to buy one of each.
Each box is full of candy and a fun activity or game. My siblings and I aren’t able to meet up at Christmas this year since we are spread out across the country. So I thought I would send them each a Wrigley Storybook to remind them of our childhood.
The Life Savers Gummies® have a fun word search game to play and you can make the box into a gingerbread house! I bought extras boxes for my son so we can do the games on Christmas morning. The Starburst® Sweet Selfie Book has a cut out picture frame to take a fun selfies with. I set up a little photobooth at home so I could send them a retro style photo of myself along with the candy…Because of course my siblings want a picture of me!
To set up the photobooth you just need a few simple props:
Black backdrop – (I used our black chalkboard door)
Place the rug on the table, add the ornaments and have fun with the storybooks!
So next time you are at Walmart pick up a couple boxs of the Starburst® Sweet Selfie Book and Life Savers® Sweet Storybooks – they make great stocking stuffers and bring back such wonderful childhood memories.
What are your favorite Christmas traditions you remember as a child?
