We have had the hardest time finding different fruits and vegetables that our son will eat. He is just the weirdest eater! We usually give him guacamole, black beans or edamame for lunch and dinner because that’s about the only vegetables he will eat. So when I received a copy of First Bites to review, I was so excited to get some new ideas for feeding my picky eater.
The first part of the book provides a list of what growing bodies need, tips on getting picky eaters to eat healthier and a list of 50 super foods. It then breaks down menu options for each age group starting at 6 months. With over 75 quick and easy recipes, this book is the perfect resource for finding the perfect meal for you little one.
A few of my favorite recipes I have already tried is the vegetable and black bean quesadillas and the banana ice cream – this was a great trick to get my son to eat his bananas. I have several more that I plan on whipping up this week.
So if you are looking for a one-stop reference guide for nutritious meals for your babies or toddlers, then this is the book for you!
