Last week Carson was hanging out over at his Mimi and Papaws and watching all the construction workers fix a few things on the outside of the house. To say he loves the “worker men” is an understatement. But on the last day, about 6 men were at the house banging and nailing and it scared my poor little guy so bad that he hid under the desk and refused to come out.
He just huddled under the desk and kept repeating, “When Ed Beene gets here everything will be OK! When Ed Beene gets here everything will be OK!”
Chad ended up going over there to pick him up and when he arrived all Carson said was, “Now how am I going to get past those working men?”
Where does he come up with this stuff? We’ve been teaching him the names of our parents, but I didn’t think we had gone over it enough for him to remember it in a crisis such as this.
Do your kids say the funniest things? Do you write them down so you can look back on it when they get older?
