I have several getaways and vacations planned for my family in the next few months. I am all about collecting memories, not things. But of course I need funds to make sure these trips can happen.
Knowing I wanted to take several trips this year, I made sure to get my taxes filed as soon as I received the necessary paperwork. With the refund I got back from filing my taxes, I was able to use that money towards our first fishing trip of the year and to purchase a much needed new phone.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy On5 (regular price $119.00) to go along with the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan = Unlimited Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE then 2G plus a free VUDU movie credit every month ($7 value, same as a new release rental) per line for $49.88. It’s easy to plan a movie night each month with the family when you get a FREE rental! All you have to pay is $19.88 for the SIM Kit since WFM bills you later.
Now with more storage on my new phone, I don’t have to worry about bringing my bulky DSLR camera on these weekend getaways. Just slip my phone in the tackle box and I have everything I need! Not only am I able to take as many photos as I want, I can also upload them instantly and have them printed and ready to be picked up at Walmart by the time we are back home.
The WFM Plus plan gives me more data, and I don’t have to worry about using all of my data while out in the country. Although I try to only use my phone as a camera when on these getaways, little man likes to play games and watch fishing videos on the road trip. This makes it the perfect phone and plan for our lives!
Do you have any trips coming up? What do you spend your tax refund money on?
