A few weeks ago me and my sister-in-law decided to surprise our sons with a ride on the Forest Park Miniature Train. Which is one of my favorite activities to take Carson on. The steam train was built in the late 1950’s and takes its passengers on a 5 mile, 45 minute ride through Forest Park with a stop at the Trinity Park Depot.
We got off at the depot to play at the park and have a little picnic. After we ate, we just hopped on the next train to take us back. The boys had so much fun on the train and loved going over the bridges. This open air train is the perfect entertainment for little ones. Carson is a little chatter box, but he barely said a word as he just took in the beautiful scenery!
Isn’t this the cutest train? Carson has been asking to ride the train again, so I’m sure we will go again this summer.
