DIY HUMAN TORCH

When my son watches cartoons or a movie, he feels the need to dress in costume and act as one of the characters on the show. Because just sitting around and watching isn’t nearly as much fun! He recently started taking an interest in super heroes and decided that he too has super human powers.

Since the hubby and I are excited for the upcoming new Fantastic Four movie, we decided to have a super hero movie night this past weekend. Knowing that my son would want to be in some sort of costume, I made him these quick and easy Human Torch gloves so that my little super hero can be just like Johnny Storm.

Supplies needed:

Gloves
Felt fabric in various colors
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
Instructions:
On the felt fabric, draw flames in different sizes that will fit on top of the glove and cut out. Then draw 6 to 8 long, skinny flames and cut out.
With hot glue gun, glue smaller fames to top of the glove. On the palm side of the glove glue at least 3 flames to each glove. Once glue has cooled, you are ready to be transformed into the Human Torch!
Let your little one get into costume, turn on the movie and grab your favorite Tyson® Any’Tizers® to enjoy while watching the flick.

I purchased all of the supplies for the gloves and the Tyson Any’Tizers while grocery shopping at Walmart. I picked up Popcorn Chicken for my little guy and Honey BBQ Boneless Wyngz for my husband and I. These all white meat chicken, protein packed snacks are easy to make and delicious.

Not only is there a wide variety that everyone will like, but you can also get a movie ticket to see the new Fantastic Four movie (this offer is only available at Walmart.) Here is how you can receive your movie ticket:
  • Buy 2 participating Tyson® Any’Tizers® products at
    Walmart between 6/15/15 and 8/15/15.
  • Snap a picture of your receipt and text or email it to tyson@drvsusa.com by
    11:59pm PST on 8/15/15.
  • Receive a code redeemable for a movie ticket to see
FANTASTIC FOUR while in theaters. Code must be redeemed by 9/30/15 on
    tysonmovieoffer.com.
Are you excited to see the new Fantastic Four movie? How do you make movie night a little more fun?

What a cute and fun project. We usually get those chicken in the regular but the honey BBQ sounds delish especially with those sauces drizzled on them. YUM.

Oh this is good info to have. I'm definitely going to tell my mom to save the receipt so that we could get our gloves.

I love the flame gloves! If I made them for myself in the winter I could pretend they'd keep my hands from freezing… probably not going to work to well in N.Y. lol
